Position: Full sun, in well-drained soil
Planting Depth & Spacing:

Dahlia: Plant tubers 10-15cm deep and 40-50cm apart after the last frost. Stake if needed.
Gladiolus: Plant corms 10-15cm deep and 10-15cm apart in spring for midsummer blooms. Stagger planting every two weeks for continuous flowering.
Freesia: Plant bulbs 5cm deep and 5-10cm apart. Best grown in pots or sheltered spots for a more concentrated display.

Spread range: 10-50cm

For best results, keep the soil moist but not waterlogged, and feed regularly during the growing season. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage continuous blooms. Dahlias should be lifted and stored over winter in colder regions, while freesias benefit from dry, frost-free storage.
