When do you plant first early potatoes?
Ideally, Second Earlies should be planted mid to late April. They will be ready for harvesting from early to mid-June. However, first early seed potatoes can also be planted from mid-March onwards as a rough guide, dependent on the weather.
When are first early potatoes ready to harvest?
First Earlies are generally ready to be harvested after 10-12 weeks from planting, which is usually around early to mid-June.
