RADISH

Raphanus sativus ‘French Breakfast is a quick growing oval shaped variety with a wonderful delicate flavour, perfect in salads.

CHARACTERISTICS:

Height: 10cm-20cm

Exposure: Full sun to partial shade

Harvest: 4 weeks after sowing

Garden Uses: Great for beds & borders; also good for planting in greenhouse, glass house or home.

GROWING INSTRUCTIONS:

Sowing Outdoors - February-September

Row width: 25cm

Sow seeds thinly 1.5cm deep direct in growing bed in rows 25cm apart. Keep the soil moist and be careful not to over-water. Thin if necessary. Radish do not keep well, therefore, sow in small quantities. Ideal for successional sowing. Keep free from weeds.
