Care Advice

Plant tulips, daffodils and hyacinths around 10 cm deep and 8–10 cm apart. Plant alliums 12–15 cm deep and 15–20 cm apart. Muscari can be planted 8 cm deep and 5–8 cm apart. Water well after planting and during dry spells in spring, but avoid waterlogging. Allow foliage to die back naturally to replenish bulbs for the following year. Muscari will naturalise to form larger drifts; tulips may need replanting after a few years to maintain intensity.
