When to plant Daffodil Bulbs (UK):

Plant daffodil bulbs in early autumn, preferably in September, for best spring blooms. Potted daffodils should be planted as spring nears, just before budding. For festive displays, 'force' paper-white daffodils indoors in September for holiday blooms.

How deep to plant Daffodil Bulbs:

For optimal growth, daffodil bulbs should be planted 4-6 inches deep, roughly twice the size of the bulb. Space standard bulbs 4-6 inches apart, while miniature varieties require 3-5 inches between them.

How to store Daffodil Bulbs:

For optimal daffodil bulb storage, clean bulbs of soil and debris, then dry on a tray for 24 hours to prevent fungal rot. Store in labeled, ventilated containers in a cool, dark, dry place. Retain only healthy, sizable bulbs for best flowering chances next season.
